Manollasini Cultural Club: Promoting and Preserving Karnatic Music .

Saraswathi Sangeetha Kalakshetra proudly presents the Manollasini Cultural Club, a dedicated platform with a mission to nurture and showcase the immense talent of young artists while promoting the rich heritage of Karnatic music. This cultural club serves as a vibrant hub for all things related to Karnatic music, fostering connections among musicians, artists, and enthusiasts.

The SSK Manollasini Cultural Club has actively participated in various musical events and initiatives, including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival in The Carnatic Epic Choir 2016. Additionally, they have sponsored and collaborated with their members to organize the Carnatic Music Mela in 2015, 2016, and 2017, as well as Participated in events hosted by Shruti Laya, New York, Sri Badhrachala Ramadasu Sankeethanotsavam, Sri Annamacharya Sankeethanotsavam, Also Telugu Fine Arts Society NJ, Deepavali Sambarallu, and Sankranthi Sambarallu events over the years.

One of the primary objectives of this club is to create a supportive and encouraging environment for Karnatic vocalists and percussionists to come together, share their passion, and collectively elevate the art form. This collaborative spirit is pivotal in preserving and advancing the tradition of Karnatic music.

 

The Manollasini Cultural Club has a diverse portfolio of activities aimed at promoting Karnatic music. Furthermore, the club holds events at various temples, such as the Sri Venkateshwara temple in Bridgewater, NJ, Shri Krishna Vrindavana in Edison, NJ, and Shri Shridi Sai Asthan in West Orange, NJ. This allows them to bring the divine essence of classical music to these sacred spaces.

Collaborations with local schools, respected Gurus (teachers), and percussion schools help the club extend its reach into the community, introducing traditional art performances to students and aspiring artists. This commitment ensures the continuity of these art forms for future generations.
